Après cinq années passées sous la blouse, les ex-Doctor Funk
reviennent avec OPUS2brassband, une fanfare explosive mêlant
le répertoire traditionnel d'un orchestre New Orleans et des compositions empruntant à la soul ou au hip-hop. Ce nouveau projet est né du besoin de renouer avec leurs racines jazz et funk, mais aussi de lenvie de rencontrer dautres artistes, comme la chanteuse Sabrina Adel qui a participé à leur premier album, ou les MCs Dias (MAP) et Axiom (Mental Kombat).
Loin des clichés sur les fanfares, OPUS2brassband est un collectif de huit jeunes musiciens au son puissant et au groove infernal qui transmet une irrésistible envie de danser et de faire la fête. ------------------------------------------------------------

with the "Opus 2 brassband" !! An explosive group which combines a
traditional New Orleans jazz band repertory and compositions from hip-hop and soul music. This new project was born from a need to revive their roots
meaning, jazz and funk, but also to meet other artists like the singer Sabrina
Adel who took part in the creation of their first album, or MCs like Dias
(MAP) and Axiom (Mental kombat). Far from the brass band « clichés », the
"Opus 2 brassband" is a young eight musicians crew with a powerful
sound and a terrific groove which transmits an irresistible desire to dance
and party !!
