I am very active, I have ADHD so I must always be doing something, whether physical or mental. You'll find me at the gym 4-5x a week, if I'm not there, and it's cold, I'm most likely hiding at home reading or watching TV (Remember, that constant stimulation thing). In the summer, good luck finding me online, I might have to talk to you on the *GASP* phone!!
I own 3 racing dogs, and no they are not Greyhounds, they are Whippets. My oldest, "Al" finished as the #5/1000 running dog in the country. I actually did the math and realized it cost me close to $3,000 to get her there. I love it though, great people, lots of road trips.
When I'm not at a race meet, I'll still be outside. I LOVE hot summer nights and sitting out under the stars, the sound of crickets, the wonderful smell of the trees and bonfires. Heat Lightning, cliff climbing, talking until all hours of the night.
Life is what you make it, regrets are chances you didn't take. I want to live my life with no regrets. The glass isn't half empty, or half full, it's too big!!
I'd like to meet:
Intelligent people who know the difference between "your" and "you're".
Music:
I love it in the car. I have a decent system in my car; a couple kickers gives me just enough feel. Save the driving bass for the clubs. I have a wide variety of music, but listen almost exclusivley to my mixed CD's.
Movies:
I like a GOOD movie. They are hard to find. Most are predictable or just way too long. A plot, decent character development and a good ending are what make up a good movie. Leave out the baggage.
Television:
I'm a true news junkie. If I am plugged in, chances are I can tell you the top 5 things the media thinks we need to panic about. I like to be informed. I also love Discover, History and National Geographic. Again, my brain NEEDS to absorb stuff.
Books:
I like books, most of mine are non-fiction relating to the field of forensics (For you sickos, I also have many on sexual deviation and sadism, and any type of fetish you'd ever want to know about). I am planning to go to Grad school this fall for Abnormal Psych. There are a lot of things I can do with that, mostly I think I'd like to work with the most disturbed people, as nobody else wants to, and I have clinical and psychological training to do so.
