About Me

When I was in Jr. High I dreamed of making twice as much as my dad did (at the time he made $13,000)and carrying a brief case to work somewhere. I actually accomplished that 25 years ago. So, what about me now. I love and try to reverance God and know Him more personally. I love it when I pray for something or somebody and the Lord answers it. Ask me about the peanut butter prayer. I love talking about the Lord Jesus, and anything in the bible. I love my family, that means you too, Jade, Amber, and Jasper. I love to work at Bell Helicopter. Ask me about helicopters. I can bore you to tears, and I even have pictures. I love sports. Any sports, except hockey. But most of all Alabama Football and college football in general. I "like" Auburn except when they play Alabama. I love art, especially mechanical drawing

Music:

WOW. I guess it all started with that Davy Crocket song on Disney back in the 50's. I LOVE IT ALL. High classical church music, sing-a-long's around the piano. Marching Band music. Classical, Hyden's Water music is the best. Classic Rock. Queen (this video was from the Queen + Paul Rogers concert last year in Manchester. Ethan and I got to see Queen in Atlanta in March this year. .. Boston. Doobie Bros.Parody type, Weird Al and Richard Cheese are the best. Anything new and different. Especially, Ethan's new creations on the computer.

Movies:

Same thing, where do I begin. The first movie I ever saw was "How the West Was Won" in 1961. My all time favorite film is "Young Frankenstein", by Mel Brooks. The movies that influenced me the most were anything the Marx Brothers did, but especially, "A day at the races" and "Horse Feathers". I love their bold in your face comedy. I always cry in sports movies, especially, "Rudy" (please understand, I never boo hoo, just a tear). Actors, Woody Allen, Tom Hanks, Will Smith. Actresses: Faye Dunaway, and the one from Leagally blonde... width="425" height="350" ..

Television:

Wish I had 3 or 4 of them in one room so I could watch them all at the same time, and I would too. Currently, our favorite is American Idol, and High School Musical (just kidding).

Books:

The Bible. My favorites in the bible are Proverbs, Psalms, Matthew, Romans, Genesis, and Hebrews. I ususally don't have to much time left after watching all the GREAT TV like Raven and Hannah Montana but when I do, I like to read sports books.

Heroes:

Currenty Heros: Jade, Amber, and Jasper because of their strength and resiliancy to face what they have had to face and to be who they are today makes me want to be like them. I LOVE YOU GUYS!!! Heros I know: Wayne Rodgers, my wifes dad, my father-in-law. I wish all of you knew him like I do. He was fighter pilot in the Korean war. He went to school at U of Texas with Tom Landry and Daryl Royal (Texas Football heros). He was Assistant Attorney General for the State of Texas. He was Vice President of Brown and Root Construction Co. And He LOVES Jesus most of all. Claudia my wife: Becuase she took a chance on a goofy kid and made something of him. She taught me soooo much, but mainly how to love others. Becca and Ethan: How they get up and do what they have to do to make it in this world and have such a good time doing it. And: Every person who says, "yes", I'll do that for you, or I'll help you, or I'll be there for you. This person will change to world.
