A native of Cambridge, MA, her god-given talent of a four-octave voice only accentuates the incredible performing talents that have led her to become the first signing of VOICE FOR A SONG Inc., a music production entity co-founded by Businessman Kenneth J. Emmanuel and Producer visionary Big Bob Francis.
Phaedra got her start in Cambridge, a suburb of Boston, singing and performing in her community at the tender age of nine. The pearl in the shell of the Boston music scene, her incredible voice won her numerous fans and led to multiple performances at political fund raisers, singing the national anthem at Fenway Park. She has received multiple awards including an NAACP Award, A Hall of Fame Award from from her High School Alma Mater, Cambridge Rindge and Latin , past inductees include Patrick Ewing, Matt Damon, and Ben Affleck.
Having turned into an in-demand singer, she went on tour with Joe McIntyre of New Kids On The Block for one year, performing around the world as well as appearing on the Rosie O'Donnell show and on a Disney special. She continued to solidify her studio work following the tour, recording with jazz luminary Walter Beasley and many other artists. She toured with Najee as a featured vocalist, taking her across the globe including South Africa where she performed with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Chaka Khan and Kenny Lattimore for Nelson Mandela's 80th Birthday Celebration.
Now based in Los Angeles, Phaedra is hard at work on her debut album tited "Sexy in the City" . Her album will feature producer/songwriter collaborations with, DSP, Nissan Stewart, Gromyko Collins, Mike City, Shep Crawford, & Lt Hutton. Phaedra is the voice for a new generation of women!
She will release the 1st single from her debut album to all major outlets in March 2008, A promotional radio tour will immediately follow!
