i love to write, mostly poetry. it's my therapy. i've been known to write a few short stories though. i thoroughly enjoy reading anything i can get my hands on, anything!! let's see, does coffee count as an interest? i'm sooo addicted to coffeecoffeecoffee. on my days off, i want to be at the beach. i recently took up surfing, but i'm still very much a beginner. just joined a gym and started working out. i like to go karaoke, but i wouldn't exactly call myself a singer.....lol. i love motorcycles. i wouldn't mind owning one, but i'm just as content to be on the back of one. for some reason i'm infatuated by las vegas. i'm a country girl so i'm interested in anything country or cowboy...yeehaw! i could go on forever......
anybody who has the ability to see deeper than what is on the surface, to touch what cannot be physically touched
being the country girl i am, i love country music. it's my music of choice. but i listen to almost anything. i have such high respect for the musicians that write their own music, to me that is talent. when i hear a song, it's the words that determine whether or not i like it, the poet in me yet again. the music is just a background for me. i really enjoy acoustic songs or live music.
hmm...movies i will never tire of: grease, grease 2, dirty dancing, where the heart is, fried green tomatoes, sixteen candles, valley girl, never been kissed, you've got mail, point break, urban cowboy, lost boys, josie and the pussycats, night at the roxbury, and many more chic flicks....
i don't really watch too much tv, i like anything on tv land, old sitcoms. why did they stop airing fantasy island??? mostly comedys, anything to make me laugh. i do like gilmore girls and beautiful people.
right now i'm in a nora roberts phase. she is a romance novelist, not smut!! i think something may be lacking in my personal life to make me want to read romance novels. anyway, i think i've read everything she has ever written and she has been around a long time. last year i went through a dean koontz phase and read all of his books. my favorite poet is Javan, he's kinda obscure but truly insightful. i feel lost without my books..... especially on my lunch breaks. i've got an insatiable thirst for knowledge.
