Gosh, where do I start.... okay, i'm such a simple person, i don't revolve my life around what money can buy, for it's the little things that make me so happy. i love a sunny day, gloomy days depress me. i love to be outdoors, completely enveloped by nature, it is there that i find my center. when i'm having a bad day, or difficult times, just a long walk outside, or a trip to the beach grounds me.
i'm a poet, in the process of writing my own book (i have some poetry posted online at poetry.com, under michelle lee kent. there's a few michelle kents on there so beware). the poet in me makes me a hopeless romantic, believing in happily everafter, dreams come true....the whole picket fence thing. i believe that everyone is just a half of a whole, looking for their other missing half to complete them. i hope to find my other half someday. and it's the hardened poet in me that only believes love can break your heart. that it's just a myth, legend. that true love is only something you see in movies and read about in books. i'm usually straddling the fence on which side i'm feeling, ask me where i'm at today and i'll tell you.
i have a 5yr old daughter. she fills me with so much love it overwhelms me at times. when i think about her i'm either laughing or crying, but most of all, she humbles me. she has made me realize that you have to be a very big person to have such a little person looking up to you. i pray to have the strength to never falter.
