History: From the Greek name(Iaecen), which was derived from Greek(iasthai) "to heal". Jaecen was the leader of the Argonauts in Greek legend. He went in search of the Golden Fleece in order to win back his kingdom from his uncle Pelias. During his journeys he married the sorceress Medea, who helped him gain the fleece and kill his uncle, but who later turned against him when he fell in love with another woman. This name is also used in Acts in the New Testament to translate the Hebrew name Joshua.

Famous people I'd like to meet would be Haifa Wehbe, Tony Shaloub, Micheal Jordan, and anyone else I really really like but can't think of right now. LoL

For My Fallen Fatherâ€¦

A father is one of the greatest influences in a sonsâ€™ life. Mine was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1989. He was/is the best man Iâ€™ve ever known, every one who knew him loved him and will miss him so much. His love for life in the mists of despair was very beautiful. He passed away in 2005 after living for 16 years with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis which has no remissions and no hope for improvement.

With each passing day, my father lost a piece of himself, until there was nothing left. I wish there was something I could have done for him, all the medications in the world couldnâ€™t help him, or even ease his pain. The most powerful man in my world was overcome by MS, my family and I could do nothing but watch him suffer.

It was during that time he showed how powerful he really was, by laughing with his grandchild, my daughter Alyssa. She loved him so much, and is one of the very few people who could make him smile. She still asks to this day if she can visit him in heaven because she misses him so much. I donâ€™t want anyone to have to live with this horrible disease or have to watch a loved one suffer with it. My sister and I will be participating in the 2006 MS Walk on April 14th at 10AM in Fayetteville, NC in hopes that one day; someone will find a means to the end of Multiple Sclerosis. Please, if you can donate money or participate, I know together we will find a cure.
