IMPORTANT this is old informationI'm 31 I love my VW's, I love all vw's... I am was working on alot of cars, I only owned 14 but hey, I'm young.. I can still get more. only 3 or 4 of them were rod projects.. that's a pretty good number, the other cars the german look beetle, the cal type 3, the euro rabbit, etc... were all different... the only common threads are FAST and VW. Each of my cars is getting built the way I see the car being done, each car has it's own vibe, some kind of soul that it needs to express before it returns to the ground, I've made mods before and un-done them because it wasn't right for the car.I think alot of people don't think about how stuffs made or how they could fix it.I live out of thrift shops and garbage cans... not because I have to but because I see the value in things that other people discard.we've been mislead that we live in a disposable society, that we have to spend to have a healthy economy, that food is hard to cook, and that machines take a special brain to understand.I think that almost every skill can be trained, the only things that cant be trained are 1) "style" and 2) the determination to keep training yourself to do things really really well. most people see those as "talent"i did get to miss my GF on a daily basis too.. yeah. now I am single so my life is up in the air. I had loved her but she decided before my accident to dump me but didn't want to do any dumping until I was well enough to get out of the place I was at. she dosen't understand that my old life is nothing like what I want to experience now. oh well.... her loss!I only own 2 VWs now and I'm not sure if I will be able to dive them or not, they are both manual transmission cars. so I really need to make my left side work so I can press the clutch and steer while I shift.

My Interests

I cant afford coil overs right now, but I'd like to drop it like it's hot. I heart corrado, I heart jetta. I heart VW. I own alot I'm on the tex and the volksrodders forum and german look too (alltypesvw) next on the agenda is cleaning out the garage so i have a place to work on things. I need to stop storing one specific project and I have an ongoing urge to make long trips.. I rock out on dumpster bikes now.. and I'm making mad lab rats experimenting with steel and wheels.. I just bought a brush and some ammunition for it.. I'll killya with 1-shot rock rock rock.. once I get a fence there'll be nothing I can't sell... double the entendre bartender I'll have another.. just make it strong! modified riders all treaded like outsiders.. but not here.. not me

I'd like to meet:

graffiti heads, volkswagen drivers, printmakers, hip hoppers, tattooed beauties, and hot rodders. rock and roll intelectuals, left wing vegetarians, and jack booted do it yourself scappers all need apply..I want to meet someone who will talk to me about printmaking and critical approaches to art... and all the damn things that rattle around in my head.. I need to get those things moving... you gotta stir to make good soup.. we like the moon, but not as much as Spoons.. people who forgive the first awkward ramblings of my interest.

Music:

my list of favorites includes bis, mu330, they might be giants, depeche mode, and ten bloody fingers... in no specific order. I am currently rocking Die WWarzau, Digital Underground, Dido,and Downset

Movies:

ray was good, i liked it alot... and ummmmm GODZILLA (no joke)

Television:

I only have one so I can play video games and watch movies.. but if there was a 24 hour mexican wrestling channel I'd be hooked ,I don't use the TV in my room here at the group home, but I would like a 24 hour mexican wrestling channel. I still have a fascination with midgets in masks (OH NO its not sexual)

Books:

I have subscriptions to magazines like Hot VWs, Ultra VW, Volksworld, and thats all because VW trends is going out of buisiness soonI like how to books, depression era encyclopedias of houshold projects, neal stephenson sci fi stuff, technical histories petrowski and burke are both good, and lately coffeetable books of 50's hot rods

Heroes:

the guys in bis.. because they get to hang out with manda rin all the freekin time, oops they broke up and wierd thing is I'm single now so manda rin has to be on the look out, she is such a good rock star type, I really should be on the look out for her new stuff.
