About Me

I'm married to the most wonderful girl in the entire world (I think everyone thinks that about the one they're in love with but I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that's totally right)... Other than that I'm the promotions director for KXOJ, The Kross, and Sports Animal radio stations in Tulsa and DJ on the weekend @ The Kross. I love my job because I get to be goofy 90% of the time (the other 10% I have to be sneaky about it). I also speak at youth groups frequently (good way to stay in it until I get to go back into youth ministry full-time!). If you'd like me to speak at your youth group have your youth pastor hit me up!

My Interests

Spending time away from work :) XBox, watching Smallville and lots of movies (I have to blockbuster online rental thing... it's pretty much awesome). Speaking at youth groups. Being on air (radio) when I can. Reading when I get a chance... (Not the coolest video ever but the song is really good)

Music:

I really like all types of music depending on my mood... Project 86, Sanctus Real, Hyperstatic Union are a few current ones I'm diggin on... I'm a closet Kelly Clarkson fan (but I guess by telling you that it's not really in the closet anymore huh??) ...

Movies:

Dumb and Dumber, The Patriot, Gladiator, Indiana Jones and James Bond movies too. This is from Tombstone... Funny stuff...

Television:

In the very rare event that I get to watch the tele, I watch Seinfeld, Smallville, SportsCenter , Dallas Cowboys Football, Fox News, and World Series of Poker (if I wasn't so paranoid about losing all my money that would probably be my job :-D )

Books:

The Bible ; "The Ultimate Gift" by Jim Stovall ; "The Oath" by Frank Peretti (actually pretty much anything by that guy!), "Mere Christianity" by C.S. Lewis, The Chronicles of Narnia (whole set), and "Hatchet" by Gary Pulsen (I think that's his last name) ... it's old skool though ;-) I think I read it in 5th grade?...

Heroes:

Lots of people... My wife: For having the courage to put up with someone like me for the rest of her life! My Dad: For having to put up with and raise all my brothers and me and for being one the best friends a guy could have. (Little Spiritual): The Apostle Peter: He denied the Son of God (not just once but 3X! and still admitted he screwed up and went back for forgiveness! (Definatly a lesson to live by! No matter what you do, God still wants you back and gave His life to make it possible)And of course... Jesus Christ: The ULTIMATE example of true love... Greater love has no one than this that he lay down His life for His friends... (Or in the words of Mat Kearney "I would take a bullet for you")

Tulsa Municipal Court

So guess where I got to go this morning... TULSA MUNICIPAL COURT 2 weeks ago I got pulled over heading down 61st street between Memorial and Sheridan for speeding... I thought the speed limit was 45.....
