"The Return of Killfranklyn"

About Me

Revolution. Revolution of the mind, body, and soul. Revolution of the heart. Revoulution against everything we've been told we should be, and could be if we conform to a mold. Revolution against conformity itself. The Revolution has begun, and KillFranklyn will succeed in spreading their message to every dark corner of the globe. Grab your revolver and let's go...
killfranklyn is not a cardboard cut-out made to fit in with every other band. They are a new brand of talent, drive, heart, and pure evil inuendo. Limitation is not in their vocabulary. Limits are there to be pushed, and KillFranklyn does just that with every ounce of their being. With every song they write, and every show they play KillFranklyn pursues their revolutionary vision and destiny with relentless conviction. Deriving inspiration from bands such as Coalesce, Meshuggah, Converge, Bloodlet, and Helloween; KillFranklyn saw the necessity in creating a musical ammunition unlike any other, an ammunition with the ability to destroy the belief that you must conform to gain recognition. they are saddled up, with guns drawn, and prepared for the long journey ahead.
Born from the ashes of liberty, KillFranklyn hails from the depths of Ohio. This rock n' roll metal outfit of seven years, has risen as a heavy contender in the national DIY scene. After the independant release of "Bring it Down" in October of 1999, KillFranklyn joined forces with Dirtpile records. A split seven inch (hatemail vs KillFranklyn) was released in 2001 to try to appease the growing masses clamoring for killfranklyn music. With the release of "evil is and act of confidence" in 2003, the turmoil became nationwide. Following shortly after, the EP "S Marks the Spot" was unleashed, and has turned the national attention into an epidemic. "S Marks the Spot" saw the addition of a new drummer, the missing mercenary to the sound that now defines the band. A brutal sound that encompasses a relentless barrage of metal and rock n' roll riffs, combined with a voice that spouts extraordinary views of the worlds flaws, and wonders with fanatical authority. It is unparalleled in every way.
With four national tours and countless mini tours under their belts (adorned with massive belt buckles) the road has not been a stranger to KillFranklyn. In fact, it has become more home than home. KillFranklyn hit the road in late February, attacking the midwest and west coast for 38 days. Brutally assaulting venues of every nature. Venues ranging from barns and living rooms, to legendary clubs like The Whiskey A-GO-GO. And that was just the first wave of the assault. KillFranklyn spent 10 days in the trenches in late June touring New Mexico and Texas, an area which has become a second home. Many more tours and countless shows are also in the works, including a month and a half in the fall of 2004, and a U.K. tour to follow in the winter. Both of which are to support the release of the full length and two seven inch records. KillFranklyn will not stop until the pandemonium reaches worldwide.
Welcome to the frontlines...grab a fist full of revolution and fall in!
