Getting lost. Traveling to places where I don't speak the language. Waking up early. Staying up late.
helen thomas and these guys:
I like music that reminds me of people.
Lost in Translation, The Professional, Secretary, Almost Famous, Titus, The Big Lebowski.
Arrested Development and The Daily Show, and So You Think You Can Dance.
Anais Nin's Delta of Venus. The Moor's Last Sigh by Salmon Rushdie is so swirly and good. I just read Shalimar the Clown and it was also amazing. House of Leaves by Mark Danielewski is fucking awesome. If you haven't read Shel Silverstein since you were 8, go get Lafcadio and go get The Missing Piece and then read them. Seriously. Also I just finished One Hundred Years of Solitude, and it *is* as good as everybody says. Lady Chatterley's Lover, however, sucks.
Heroes are for pussies.
