About Me

About me? Do you have a few years, cause there's a lot to say.

My Interests

Too many interests, too little timeMy MAIN Interest is to keep my sons happy, healthy, and prepared for whatever event(s) this world may surprise us with.

I'd like to meet:

Good people that are down-to-earth, noble, loyal, trustworthy...(qualities that are hard to find in most people). People that don't expect me to change or do things I don't want to do. I'm here on myspace for amigos/as that have similar interests to mine. People that bring out my laughter have always interested me.Add to My Profile | More Videos

Music:

Music is my emotional rescue. I listen to all genres of music depending on my mood. My oldest son has inspired me to listen to more baroque and classical music, like: Vivaldi, Mozart, and Chopin, among other musical prodigies. I give some credit to my older brother for introducing me to classic and progressive rock at a very young age (although his preference has changed since then). My ex husband, a classical guitarist (on the side), introduced me to a wider range of quality guitar sounds. I admire all genres of music; from opera to punk rock, oldies to new wave...It's all good! The Beatles: By far the most influential rock band in history.RUSH: The best 3 man progressive rock band. If Neil Peart had a clone...I'd marry him=)YES: A medley of progressive, folk & lyrics that produce such fine acoustics.Abba, AC/DC, Aerosmith, Alanis Morriset, Alan Parsons Project, Al di Meola, Andrea Bocceli, Andres Segovia, Asia, Beatles, B.B. Movies:

I prefer the book(s), but...yes, I like some oldies.

Television:

After reading "1984" I spend less time in front of it (Television)

Books:

I enjoy reading old novels, a favorite of mine is Gustave Flaubert's Madame Bovary. Here's a few of my favorite authors: Charles Dickens, Miguel de Cervantes, Mark Twain, Jane Austen, Ernest Hemingway, George Orwell, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabelle Allende, Howard Zinn...much more. I have a collection of cookbooks.

Heroes:

My sons are my heroes; Los amo una infinidad.I remember something said to me in flight attendant training: "You can only save so many (people), but when chances of survival are scarce, save yourself; for it is better to be a live coward, than a dead hero." I believe it can work both ways.
