"Human trafficking refers to transportation of persons for forced labor, sexual exploitation or other illicit activities. It is estimated that more than 1 million people are trafficked annually around the world; some experts say it could be double that." (humantrafficking.org)
This profile exists to bring knowledge to the youth of America about the tragedy of Human Trafficking, modern day sex slavery happening right here in America. Not only does this happen in our own "free" country, but it is a global epidemic. The least we can all do is TELL ONE PERSON. Forward this profile to a friend, and be a part of the fight to stop human trafficking.

This project started in 2005, a private college in Washington took on a project to raise money to help the victims of human trafficking. 50,000+ dollars later the student body had raised enough money to build a wing in a children's orphanage in India that takes the unwanted children born to the women who are victims of human trafficking and gives them food, shelter, education and other needs. One broke college student had no money to give to this cause, but did have time, and some creativity. A year later, 2,000 people have partnered to spread the word about human trafficking. After all, if we can get the word out to people who do have money... we can make a difference. This story will not end until human trafficking does... so here we are... to be continued...
