I am here for Friends

About Me

I got my layout at Cleanupmyspace.comPeople tell me I am nice; actually, I am really just trying to be polite. The first rule to being human is to be kind to others, otherwise what's the point of being human. I am short, I have curly hair and I like to work out. I love cartoons and anime, but I try to be realistic if not cynical at all times. In the workplace, I try to be kind, polite and professional, but those that know me outside of work may describe me as sarcastic, crazy and a bit of a smart-ass. Towards new people, I am typically shy and usually keep my mouth shut. But, when I feel more comfortable around others, I like to wise-crack about everything. I am interested in friends, and hope to make a few more than I have currently, not that I don't love the ones that I have now.

My Interests

WORLD DOMINATION!!!!! And kittens. I am also intereseted in cartoons, anime, mammals (especially large predators...), ecology, manga, comics, humans in relation to the environment, Japanese Culture, Geisha, Chinese Culture, Foreign Foods, Social issues, different cultures, different languages, the body of Jimmy Hoffa, ghosts, demons, mythology, art, music, science of any type, strange smells, wine and CHEESE!!!

I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet Rumiko Takahashi, James Marsters and, uh............ a foreign person. Heh heh.

Music:

Indy Hop and Jug Bands!! Ha ha ha, anything that catches my attention.

Movies:

My #1 of all time is 'The Shawshank Redemption'. If you haven't seen it yet, shame on you. Currently, I am a huge fan of the 'Transformers' movie. YAY!! it's a lot of fun. I also like The Addams Family Movies, Donnie Darko, The 5th Element and musicals.

Television:

I don't have much freedom to watch TV. However, one of my good friends got me into the kids' show "Avatar: the last airbender" this past fall. I like the unique asian influence, and the story is very complex and has characters with change and depth to their personalities. A refreshing change to the usual crap I have seen the past 7 years from American Cartoons.

Books:

American Gods, Neverwhere, Anansi Boys, Memoirs of a Geisha, Geisha: A life, My side of the mountain, The Harry Potter Series and anything by Stephen King

Heroes:

The inventor of the Toaster tongs, they keep my hands from burning!!!!! And the parents that sued McDonalds for making their children obese. ROCK ON!! LIVE that American dream. Rumiko Takahashi
