About Me

bare details - I'm a pretty energetic and outgoing person and am always looking for new things to do. I've lived in the DC area since undergrad and am currently in a PhD program for psychology in the area. While I am devoted to what I'm studying, I devote as much energy to my social life as I do to work. I like going out with friends and generally have a good time.

My Interests

going out, movies, books, painting, camping, good restaurants, kickball (although, I don't know how much that counts as an interest, but it's fun :))

I'd like to meet:

I like to be around people who are confident, intelligent and know how to have a good time - and most importantly, who laugh often (with other people or at themselves)

Music:

Some of my favorites are U2, Lincoln Park, Black Eyed Peas, Tom Petty, James Blunt

Movies:

Primal fear, Fight Club - anything with a twist. I really will watch anything, as long as it is not overly sappy and boring (not really into the chick flicks).

Television:

I'm into Lost right now as I know half the world is. You can also catch me indulging in the Law and Order marathons, especially SVU, Project runway (ummm pathetic, but true).

Books:

I read a lot, but off of the top of my head some of my favorites are I know this much is true, The Pact, the handmaid's tale. Most recently, I read A long way down by Nick Hornsby.
