I've been living in D.C. for two years (NY transplant). I came here not knowing many people, but have made a lot of great friends and really love D.C. When I'm not working I'm usually trying to decide whether or not to go to happy hour (the answer is usually go), volunteering, catching up with friends and waiting for the elevator in my apartment building.I have the phone numbers of all the local food delivery places saved in my cell phone-- which demonstrates that while I'm organized, I very rarely cook a meal. I can, however, make a mean quesadilla.Generally, I'm a spaz but always the first to laugh at myself especially when it involves telling a story of about my spazziness. I can be sarcastic at times and appreciate others who don't take themselves too seriously.
