I am 20 years old, happily married for almost 5 years now ALHAMDULILAH to the FINEST brotha alive his name Khaliq...but Brotha Khaliq to everyone else KHALIQ IS TRUELY A BLESSING from ALLAH I LOVE YOU SO MUCH BABA!! . I am currently living in the LOVELY Sacramento California, I am the bangin’ wife of BROTHA Khaliq as stated above LOL JP(NAA FOR REAL THO) I am a PROUD "mommy" to Princess KHALIANA who is 2 YEARS OLD. I am a very STRONG YOUNG WOMAN I love living up to my last name MATEEN (which is arabic and means STRONG & FIRM)One of my HERO's...my father MR.Seifudeen MATEEN always tells me to be stong and to ALWAYS no MATTER what TRUST IN ALLAH. I feel my life is a contant STRUGGLE...which alot of weak minded people would be afraid of but I believe in ALLAH'S word and I know that this life is a STRUGGLE for the BELIEVER and a PARADISE for the non believer...so I am CONTENT with my DAILY STRUGGLE. Above all I AM MUSLIM and I was BORN INTO and RAISED in this beautiful religion called ISLAM. I am the type of person that I never start something I don’t intend ..ing, I am Very Very GOOFY...you can catch me playing, dancing, telling jokes or just being crazy almost all the time. I am also VERY violent, so I am ALWAYS READY and WILLING to FIGHT... I guess that’s a major flaw (or so I've been told) I really should work on that I always "REACT" & sometimes the BEST REACTION is NO REACTION. I try to be nice, but somehow I always end up being that "girl with an Attitude". I guess I would say, People either love me or hate me...and my honest opnion on that is, You LOVING or HATING me gets me NOWHERE!!!! It sure in the hell doesnt pay my bills, put food on my table, or Benefit me in anyother way sOooOo take it/me or leave it/me upon reading this and NOT knowing me you would say "man she's mean" LOL no no no thats not it. I would say you just dont understand ♥SAFIYYAH MATEEN♥ but the few that do WOULD BEG TO DIFFER would simply say thats SAFIYYAH!...I don't have many friends because I don’t need/like/want the DRAMA, but the few that I do have I keep near and are VERY DEAR to ME, but I do have a lot of "SISTERS" when I say "SISTERS" I am referring to the women who share the same beliefs as myself (MUSLIMAHS) all of which I LOVE and ADORE and would do anything for in the drop of a HAT... I come from a very strong Hispanic background, Yes! I said Hispanic thought I was Middle-Eastern huh?...a lot of people seem to think that . I also come from a BiG family, I have 6 brother's 3 of which are older and 4 sister's 2 of which are older I am number 6 of 10! so I guess you can call me the Middle CHILD(SORTA KINDA).I don't have much more to say if you have any questions or just want to chat hit me up.*Ma Salaams...:::*Safiyyah..s Words Of Wisdom*:::... POEM ABOUT THE HIJAB: What do you see when you look at me?...Do you see someone limited or someone free, All some people can do is look and stare, Simply because they can't see my hair, Others think I am controlled and uneducated, they are so thankful that they are not me, because they would like to remain free, well free isn't exactly the word I would've used describing women who are cheated on and abused, they think I do not have opinions or voice, They think that being HOODED isn't MY CHOICE, they think that the hood makes me look caged, and that my husband or dad is totally outraged, all they can do is look at me in fear, and in my eye there is a TEAR, not because I have been stared at or made fun of, but because people are ignoring the one up above, on the day of JUDGEMENT they will be the fools, because they were too ashamed to play by their OWN rules, Maybe guys won't think I'm a "CUTIE" but at least I'm filled with more INNER BEAUTY, see I have declined from being a guy's toy, because I won't let myself be controlled by a boy, REAL MEN are able to appreciate my mind, and aren't busy looking at my behind, HOODED girls are the ones really helping the MUSLIM CAUSE, the role that we play definitely deserves an applause. I will be recognized because I am SMART and BRIGHT, and because some people are inspired by my sight, the smart ones are attracted to my TRANQUILITY, in the back of their minds they wish they were me. We have the strength to do what we think is RIGHT, even if it means putting up a LIFE LONG FIGHT, you see we are NOT controlled by a mini skirt and a tight shirt, we are ONLY given RESPECT, and NEVER treated like DIRT, so you see WE ARE the ONES that are FREE and LIBERATED, we are NOT the ONES that are sexually TERRORIZED and VIOLATED, we are the ones that are FREE and PURE, we're free of STD'S that have no CURE, So when people ask ME about the "HOOD" I sum it up by saying "BABY IT'S ALL GOOD".Although I'm Young don't MISTAKE me for being WEAK MINDED or naieve Trust meI am very level headed and don't respond to ignorance.
