Charly first began playing piano at the age of 5 and had been studying
it and classical music for 12 years. At the age of 15, inspired by pop
rock and metal bands, he picked up the guitar but right after, he needs
to discover who the guitar virtuosos are.He quickly finds his influences and is determined to reach their
technical level.Listening to prog-rock, heavy metal, shredding guitarists and after
having discovered Dream theater , Charly wants to create his own band
and starts to write songs which will be the Venturia beginning...VENTURIA was formed in 2000, first with drummer Diego Rapacchietti.
Bass player Thomas James later joined the band and added his versatile talents to the band.
Female vocalist Lydie Robin and male singer Marc Ferreira will join Venturia some times after.In late 2003, Charly has the great opportunity to play on the Shawn Lane
tribute vol 1, released through the Finnish record company Lion Music.
He begins to have some new contacts in the music business who are
interested in the Venturia project too.The band began recording the debut album, "The New Kingdom", in 2004 and finalized it in August 2005.In late 2005 VENTURIA signed a management deal with Danish based metal agency Intromental, and shortly afterwards a deal with Lion Music for the release of "The New Kingdom" was in place, with a release date set for April 21st 2006.Charly lives in Montpellier, south of France. He still plays in his
cover band, does some recording sessions and spends most of his time
