I am a socialist because I reject an international economic order sustained by private profit, alienated labor, race and gender discrimination, environmental destruction, and brutality and violence in defense of the status quo.
I am a socialist because we share a vision of a humane international social order based both on democratic planning and market mechanisms to achieve equitable distribution of resources, meaningful work, a healthy environment, sustainable growth, gender and racial equality, and non-oppressive relationships.

As far as people go I am a pretty open person. However, I will not tolerate ignorance, rudeness and overall lameness. If you are dramatic beyond your own control stay far far away.

I grew up on 80's hardcore punk, but over the years I've gotton into indie and currently a lot of dance music.
So my tastes range from T.S.O.L. to Justice.
I'm not really a music snob, but I am a huge music nerd. If I really enjoy a band, I'll study all their history :]
I am a film student so I have a wide range of likes and dislikes.
Mostly documentary, independent or foreign films strike my personal pallet.
