BIG DOGG PRODUCTIONS started out in a little cubby hole in the mind of a 29 year old kid with dreams of putting his City of El Paso, Texas on the map. To be recognized by all major Cities abroad as a City with Great, Strong, Unique, Musicians and Performers. Honoring pioneers of the past such as At-The-Drive-In, The Pissing Razors, Schizm, The Mars Volta, and all time favorite Sparta as they rocked The Nation and even The World on their quest for recognition.I took notice of the "local scene" in the Sun City around 2006 and realized it needed a bit of a jump start. Cover bands were, in my opinion all over the place. Locals were being stuffed away in a corner somewhere. Venues were not taking chances and Promoters were having a hard time opening doors for their artists.This town needed a Change of Command.....it was time to turn off the radio and make our imprint on this Nation! To show the Big Music Execs that we have what it takes to make a great album....to touch peoples lives, to make a connection...an impression. To show them that EL PASO, TEXAS knows how to ROCK!Our time is now....having managed multiple Nightclubs and businesses in the past I took it upon myself to try to make a major change. But first I had to put away all the ties and suits and dress shoes and start doing what I loved...ROCKING! I checked out multiple shows around town, took notes and not only took interest, but became a major fan of various bands/musicians around town!(you know who you are)! The sounds that came out of these kids was PHENOMENAL!I soon gathered up multiple venues and numerous artists and we started "our" very own "MOVEMENT"! Bands that were tired of doors being slammed in their faces, getting shafted by venue owners, and being put on the back burner to Touring Bands and Cover bands. All they wanted was to be heard...and I listened......and what a great sound was made....quite the discovery!Very exited about my new venture, other entrepreneurs took notice, and I was approached by MUGGSHOTS ENTERTAINMENT and offered to do a Local Rock Television Show called "JAM SESSION" to be aired on Cable Channel 7 on Saturdays and Sundays. The Company is now FULL STEAM AHEAD.... there is no turning back! Our Mission is set in stone and any person out there with a dream of rocking a stage in front of hundreds your fellow peers, or in front of a camera to be viewed by tens of thousands of Texans......feel free to drop me a line.
