I'm a songwriter and producer in Nashville, originally from Maine, signed to Sony BMG/Brentwood Benson Music Publishing. As a producer I have an independent production company, but I do a lot of work for Sony and some for Curb. Most recently I produced Red and AnaLaura . Currently producing Falling For Yesterday and Wavorly . Otherwise I've been lucky enough to work with some great artists and writers...Beth Nielsen Chapman, Annie Roboff, Backstreet, Stacie O, Joy W, Natalie Grant, Steven Curtis, Casting Crowns, etc. I do a few genres - lots of pop, but lately it's been mostly the heavier rock stuff, which is my true background. A Diezel on 10...perfect.
If you are an artist, I'm always up for developing new talent, but it's rare. I don't do "custom" projects, meaning you cannot pay me to produce your record if you are unsigned. The only unsigned acts I currently work with are those that I believe in and choose to sign and produce at my expense. I will gladly listen to your music...everyone is looking for the next big thing. I encourage you to be persistent...it's a myth that the record industry is trying to keep you out. Talent always rises. If you are talented, your peristence will eventually pay off.
