Music, Doing artsy things, Playing bass, Making cool kick ass clothes, Being skinny, Lacross, Lots of stuff but why should I tell you?
im looking for bands to have at my shows, or just people realy into music that will come to the shows or just some cool people to talk to or umm a lepper
Good metal, Local metal, Classic Rock I do not find a need to list what bands I listen to because if you had the time to read the list you would have no life. For what I call good metal it must have amazing guitar work and outstanding solos, the bass must be more then a few cords but some one who can realy play, drums usaly consist of dobble kick for that lovly rolling sound or just great pounding beats, the vocals can not be whiny, stupid, or some one trying to scream/shout/grunt/growl...basicly they have to actully be able to sing the style they sing. The lyrics have to have some meaning to them and can not be stupid shit. But most importantly the band must beable to compliment eachother musicly and produce good quality music that engages stimulation to the listener. I am a huge music snob who hates most hardcore (the stupid kind), emo, punk, whiny, hiphop, rap, country. I some times feel the need to listen to singer/songwrighters who are amazing, techno (that is again good and meets my standerds) and random bands that dont fall under any catagories.
the boondock saints, donnie darko, pluse (or octange if you no live in us), amile, underworld, queen of the damned, tommy, the goonies, the laberanth, corkey ramano, 13 goast, dogeball, the borne idenity and supremicy, gone in 60 seconds, tomb rader (1 and 2)
Fuck Tv and all that it has done to this world.
The stranger, The dirt, Inside out, Tommyland, Animal farm, The secret life of bees, All of Marion Zimmer Bradlys work (The Mists of Avalon, Ill Nature(if you only read one more book in this life time, have it be this book)
haha the corney answer....my daddy, John Entwistle of The Who (amazing bassist) Keith Moon of The Who (truly one of the best drummers ever to play on stage, sadly taking away by drugs.) And any musician that is good at what they do.
