About Me

I live in a lab, work on a rig and I drink a lot of tea. Currently I am in my 4th year of grad school at Vandy here in Nashville (lab website: http://www.mc.vanderbilt.edu/root/vumc.php?site=winder&d oc=126 ), but I hope to be back on the East Coast within the next two years. I study the neural mechanisms (plasticity) that underlie stress induced relapse to drug seeking behavior. I am married to "a wonderful husband", who happens to also be a post-doc in my lab. We have two very furry adopted beasts (check out photos, they're adorable!!!)CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESS MEN/WOMEN AND ASK THEM TO SUPPORT INCREASING THE NIH BUDGET!!!! ALL OF OUR LIVES DEPEND ON IT!!!!!!
