BURKS

"Success is a numbers game; there is a direct relationship between the number of things you try and your probability of ultimately succeeding." Starting in 1998 BURKS has been working hard to find his place in hip hop. It hasn't been easy at all for him. After coming out with his first album in 2001 burks realized that to produce a quality album would take a team. he would need to find someone to work with on this project. He ended up meeting SAM DOOM and J-AC. SAM DOOM a local music artist whos passion for hip hop shined and J-ac a 19 year old producer who was lightyears ahead in the terms of beatmaking. After realizing that hip hop wasn't going to be able to pay the bills BURKS decided to attend DeVRY university for electronics and basically waste his money. B/c the whole time he knew hip hop was his calling. After attending college for 2 years BURKS decided to drop out of college and try to focus more on his music career. The MADAM project was then created which was the punchline team of BURKS and SAMDOOM. Real names MATT AND ADAM, hence MADAM. After winning a battle of the bands competition the MADAM project went on the low each artist working on SOLO careers.. now is NOW and its time to open the next page to REAL HIP HOP..
