I've been married to my wife, Judy for 38 years this year. We've raised 6 kids, 5 girls and 1 boy. We have 13 grandchildren. I have been in the construction business for 35 years. I have owned my own construction company for 30 years. I have done all aspects of construction. From building a house from the foundation up, remodeling existing homes, adding on rooms, and have, within the last 5 years, started doing "safe rooms" in homes. Living in Texas, Tornado Alley, I felt that it would be a good idea to learn how to put "safe rooms" in people's homes. This entails taking an existing room in your home and reinforcing the walls and ceiling to withstand the force of a tornado. I feel that it is a very smart investment for homeowners to put a "safe room" in their homes. Not only will it keep their families safe during a tornado, but if they ever sell their homes, it would be a great incentive to potential buyers. I always give free estimates and feel that no job is too small.
