I am a retired teacher/principal and an Episcopal priest. I am on My Space because my daughter, Ariana, showed me how to set an account up.I write a weekly blog at http://christchurchrbgospelreflections.blogspot.com/ which offers reflections on passages from the Gospel assigned for reading in the Episcopal Church each week.I welcome visitors to my blog and any responses you have to what I write or the particular passage from the Gospel.I am a life-long Episcopalian and happy to be in a church that welcomes everyone to the Table.

My Interests

Reading, writing, walking, film, and theater.

I'd like to meet:

Moses, King David, Elijah, Martin Luther King Jr, and Jesus. I would also like to have met Babe Ruth and Willie Mays.

Music:

I still love the music of the 1950's, 60's, and 70's. The Beatles and Stones are among my favorites.

The Queen, The Great Escape, Jesus Christ Superstar, The Cardinal, Lawrence of Arabia, The Pink Panther (the original).

Television:

Curb Your Enthusiasm, The Daily Show, Huff, Boston Legal, Dexter, Bill Mair, Craig Ferguson, and Jay Leno.

Books:

A Generous Orthodoxy by Brian McClaren, The Book of Common Prayer 1979, The Bible, James Alison, Walter Wink, the writings of C.S. Lewis.

Heroes:

My Mom and Dad. My brother. My beautiful wife, Madelyn. My Sons, Ben and Matt. My daughter Ariana. The Reverend Richard I.S. Parker.
