About Me

My Dear Family, Friends, Lovers, and Fighters,
I think this is where I begin. You probably haven't seen me as much as you used to. Some of you may have talked to me for a quick five minutes before I have to leave again, and maybe you're thinking that I really have fallen off the planet. But I'm here and I've never really left. A recent turn of events that I could not have anticipated has caused me to do some serious soul searching, resulting in a series of epiphanies. I've always considered myself to be a good person. I believe I've been raised to have a good head on my shoulders, and to always follow that inner voice of guidance that speaks inside all of us. I've started thinking more in depth about life, how it changes and how it works, and discovering where it is that I fit into all of that. When you lose everything, you realize the only thing you'll always have is yourself. And without any distractions left, you see clearly who that self really is. It's been an incredible ride of tears, love, learning, betrayal, celebration, heartbreak, and joy, all of which have led me up to this point. I'm now at that crossroads in my life where I am about to go somewhere completely different.
I woke up one day and realized that I was on the fast track to destruction, trying to do the same thing in different incarnations. The life long battle I've endured against the personal hardships life has given me, as well as the internal struggle against my own anger and depression turned into a losing war as I made my mistakes over and over again, dealing with it the wrong way through a downward spiral of bitterness, drug use, and cover ups. If I didn't do something to break out of that cycle, it's possible that I would not be here today. But I know that God would not give me anything that I could not transcend. I was not brought up in a religious household. But a few years ago, when I had the experience of coming face to face with my own impending death, I was never more sure that God existed. I believe that miracles do happen, and that they have happened to me. I believe I have been saved for a reason.
I decided to dedicate myself to a life of service. To save all those who scream for help but are never heard. I will see the things that people choose to ignore, and make them see it as I do. The universe had been speaking to me all along, in the form of songs, paintings, animals and nature, if only I had taken the time to listen. To appreciate art. I will teach people to see.
Through art I will heal all those who suffer, just as art has always pulled me through my own darkest hours. In order to do this, I had to strip myself of all the negative influences around me. Relationships and situations that stagnate you keep you from becoming who you are, that self, that is the only thing you truly have. It's the only thing you are born with, it's the only thing you have to give, and it's the only thing you'll die with. People, places, and things you invest life into should be the ones that allow you to grow. Which is how I knew that I have made the right decision to start over. Life, death, and life again is the way of the earth. This is nature's design. It's about giving yourself, and others giving themselves to you, so that life lives on. If it doesn't shape you, change you, positively affect you, can you call it art? If you don't give it to anyone, who can share it? Every time you create something, a little piece of your soul stays in that creation. So create. Give it away. And don't ever stop giving.
This new project I am working on has opened my eyes to a lot of things I never had the time to sit down and see. So many distractions that kept me busy in the past had caused me to overlook the things that matter, and no one around me was ever on the same page. The new art and new people I am working with are, in a way, re-aligning me with who I am, what I want to be, and who I have lost sight of over the years. We are at the same place in life spiritually, going through this new phase together of life, loss, and rebirth, and documenting it all in the form of music. We believe in making a difference, and to be a friend to all who may be going through it with us at the same time. Know that we share your pain, confusion, happiness, excitement, and sadness. None of us have the right answers all the time. But we are sure of one thing: united, we are strong. So if you find yourself in the the chaos, the sacrifice and the loss everything you've ever known to begin again, you are not alone. To know true happiness, you must first be intimate with sorrow.
I can't tell you if you'll love it or hate it. All I can tell you is to expect something totally different from me. I hope it makes you feel. I am building a new era from scratch, not to own or to have, but to give and release to all of you to share. Please take a moment to listen, and experience. Because that's when you truly live. Just wait and see.

Most of my family lives in/is from London. My dad came to America and I was born in Connecticut, USA. Then we moved to Long Island. But I want to go back.
