Peter Catalano developed an interest in music at the
age of 10. He began learning the art of many
instruments such as drums, bass, guitar, piano, and
vocal training. Throughout his teens, Peter was
involved in many different bands of different genres.
This led to working with many different producers
where his ambitious personality led him to producing.
With Peter's capability of singing and screaming
different styles, he was able to connect with both rock and metal acts.He started his band Sown In Tears in 2005 in hopes of absolute
success. Over a few months, Peter and his band mates
began to write music while searching for a producer
that understood their mission. In May of 2006, Peter
and the rest of Sown In Tears met up with
multi-platinum selling artist/producer Tomas Costanza
of Diffuser [Hollywood Records] fame. In June of 2006
Sown In Tears entered Costanza's studio to record a EP
which would eventually sell over 500 copies in a few
short months.Peter has shared the stage with such
national acts as Caliban, The Acacia Strain,
Remembering Never, Job For A Cowboy, Misery Index,
Bury Your Dead, and Cattle Decapitation. Also, Peter showcased for Trustkill Records in September of 2006. Peter has been instructed by
Tomas Costanza [Diffuser, This Is Hell, Brianna Taylor] and Michael Angelo [Public Enemy, Mariah Carey, Shania Twain] learning every detail on producing and engineering. For the past two years Peter has been producing and mixing records at Killingsworth Recording Studios. As of September 2008, Peter is now a full time Producer and Mixer at The Music Palace.
