About Me

Daniel Bear a.k.a. SUGA-D was born in Vancouver B.C. Canada, were he lived untill he was five years old. When his parents seperated he went to go live with his father on the Muskoday First Nation Indian Reserve in Saskatchewan Canada. Throughout his youth Dan enjoyed playing both Ice Hockey and Hardball and and even though Hockey was his first love, he seemed to excell more in Baseball as he was regarded as one with an explosive bat and a catching ability that was second to none around the leauge. His sports, teammates and dedication to team play became his primary focus throughout his youth. During school breaks and hollidays, Dan would return to the coast to visit his family who had since moved to Nanaimo, a city on Vancouver Island just across the water from Vancouver. His older brother Mike Przada a.k.a FATTY DOWN was one of the first Rap artists on Vancouver Island, and was a major influence on his younger brother Dan, who many now know as SUGA-D. By the age of 14, Dan was writing rhymes and rapping over instrumentals from his favorites artists single's and teaching himself the art of flow. In 1996 he hooked up with fellow Muskoday First Nations Band members MILS and SIR RENDER, and after sending songs back and forth from the prairies to the coast for the touch of Fattydown, The INNERSOULFLOW was born. The roster was thickened with the arrival of EEKWOL, MASS, and LUCAS. When it came time to finally put a name on the incredible musical connection that brothers FATTYDOWN and SUGA-D share, they called it D-DOSE. To date Suga-D has worked on released projects under both names, INNERSOULFLOW and D-DOSE. His first solo album was called SUGA-D the Daniel Bear Project, and his second solo, due to drop this summer is called BEAR SEASON. His proudest work to date is an album dropping soon on MILS PRODUCTIONS, D-DOSE "THE DIFFERENCE". Outside of music SUGA-D is a proud father to his five year old son Isaiah, and is still very active with baseball. He is very proud of his first nations status and is also a practising Catholic. I would really like to catch a glimps of Bigfoot some day, I think that would be kinda cool.

Heroes:

BATMAN KIKS ASS YO, He is one of the only superheroes who is human. Im not really down with the whole mutant thing or the special power thing. I like batmans calm and collective attitude in the face of evil. He alwayz has a trick up his sleeve at the last second.
