Stuff for your blog!
I have many, many interests and there always seems to be something new on the horizon. I'm a curious person, by nature. I like seeing, experiencing, and learning new things. Reading and writing are both passions of mine. I read all kinds of things... just what ever interests me at the time. I'm constantly making notes on things as to rhymes or ideas that pop into my head... for future reference. I'm an artist although it's rare that I get to indulge my creative streak (time issues). I work as a free-lance artist outside of my regular nine-to-five whenever a job comes along. Since time seems to prevent me from what I love... I've taken up photography for when I see something I think would look good on canvas. Hiking and sight-seeing help me to find new subjects. Music really motivates me and is a part of every day. There is almost always music playing in some capacity around me... in the car... my stereo... at work... when I paint... I even listen to classical as I fall asleep at night. (lol) Like I said, my interests are all over the board... I even crochet, at times. I like all kinds of things... I'll try anything once... there isn't much that I don't like.

I'd like to meet:
myspace layout
IF I WERE TO GO "digging" people up... I'd like to meet Da Vinci, Einstein, Van Gogh and Edgar Allen Poe. The reason being... they had unique perspectives and intrinsic minds... I like getting inside peoples heads and learning what makes them tick. NOW ON A MODERN NOTE... I 'd like to meet Cher (I just think she's cool), Johnny Depp (another mind I'd like to get into), Harry Connick, Jr. (I think he's awesome), anyone with a creative mind... I just love learning new things from interesting people. ON A PERSONAL LEVEL... I'm looking to make some really great friends with common interests and common goals... interesting people. :)AS FOR A GUY... I'm looking for someone who can enjoy life with me. I'm not into what you have but rather who you are. I want to find a man of character, who has a conscience, a good heart and who can love me for me in all my moments and let me love him the same.I think that beautiful things and beautiful people only come into your life one way... unannounced, unexpectedly, unbeknownst to you. Then suddenly, one day, you see things in a different light... surprise! Wonderful things await behind unopened doors... lie over the horizon.Sappy, huh?

Your Love Style is Agape
You are a caring, kind, and selfless partner.
Unsurprisingly, your love style is the most rare.
You are willing to sacrfice your world for your sweetie.
Except it doesn't really feel like sacrifice to you.
For you, nothing feels better than giving to the one you love.
What's Your Love Style?

Music:

I enjoy all kinds of music. Anything from blues to country to classical to rock. Heck, I even sang in a band "once upon a time", although we never made it out of the garage phase (thank God, since I'm not a crowd person, lol). I love to sing...do it all the time...just ask my kids, lol. I don't care for rap, but I do respect that it's a form of expression and everyone has different tastes. Recently I got turned on to Contemporary Christian Music (because they started playing it all the time on the muzak thingy @ work). It rocks! I love good harmonies... and yeah, I have a thing for "boy bands". I like songs with a message/story behind them. I like music that moves me. There's nothing like the sound of a spanish guitar, a piano ballad, a sax solo, a steel drum, a good drum beat, a mesmerizing cello, a kicking harmonica, or a good ole washboard & accordion, ....and let's not forget a soulful bagpipe. I LOVE MUSIC.

Movies:

Movies are the same for me as music...I like all kinds. I tend to favor comedies over others, though. I can't stand to watch a sad movie(unless it moves me)...I always cry buckets when I do. If I had to name some all-time favorites I guess they would be... Forrest Gump, Sommersby, Pretty Woman, Shrek, Pillow Talk, The Last of the Mohicans, Hope Floats, Caddyshack, Broken Arrow, Castaway, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Highlander, The Big Easy, Double Jeopardy, Heathers, Hard Rain, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil,Against All Odds, The Fisher King, A River Runs Through It, Legends of the Fall. My newest favorite is The Lakehouse with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock - loved the way they time hopped and wove the two stories together... one you have to really pay attention to. I could go on and on. I have ecletic tastes, don't I?

Television:
I don't watch much television anymore. I catch the news, weather and an occasional tv movie when I can and DVDs. There aren't too many sitcoms that hold my attention these days. Although, I do like to catch ABC's Extreme Home Makeovers when I can, Boston Legal... and my kids have kind of gotten me hooked on One Tree Hill. I don't get into the reality show concept...never was one much for sensationalism. I used to always catch WKRP in Cincinnati, Cheers, Taxi, Seinfield, Friends, and Frazier whenever I could.

Stuff for your blog!
Hmmmmm.....this one is sooooo hard to narrow down...I've read so much and sometimes I forget the titles....but not the stories. First there is THE BOOK (a reference tool I use almost daily...if you seek you will find), A Tale of Two Cities, The Witch of Blackbird Pond, Rose Madder, The Pelican Brief, The Da Vinci Code, anything from the bard, Clive Cussler, Tami Hoag, Sandra Brown, just whatever I find interesting. I once read a book on rocket engines and propulsion systems because I was dating an aero engineering student and I wanted to know what he was talking about all of the time! And surprisingly...it was interesting.

Heroes:
My hero??? Hmmm.... a smoked turkey with swiss, mayo and mustard! (LOL) Nah, seriously.... I have to have a hero? Oh man....I guess my dad would be THE one. I have a lot of respect for him and what he accomplished in his life. Mighty Mouse is a second...he never let his size hold him back or down. And of course...Superman...especially the real Superman, Christopher Reeves... a real man of steel.
