Tsah-as-zih-klesh

I am a child of the earth and find much peace in the desert with its beautiful blood red skies and the soft warm sand of New Mexico. I am a mother, I have a wonderful mate, great family and few true friends and these people are my world. I am a yarn addict. I find much pleasure in knitting and crocheting anything and then giving it away to an admirer. Unfortunatley I heard a rumor that our local Hellmart will no longer be selling yarn or fabric, which is a travesty to the yarn addict, seeing as our closest yarn store is about an hour away. I guess I will have to deal with purchases on Ebay or deal with the drive. I will go mad.. I just know it. (send me some yarn please!!!!) I am also a Navajo (Dine')artist. I work with many mediums but find most of my time is spent painting skulls. Skulls intrigue me, their lines, shape, the gentle slope of a nose or an eye. I also create charcoal portraits, although I don't do many of them these days unless it is by commision or the rare mood strikes me. I enjoy Photoshop, knitting and crocheting(as mentioned above), decorating boxes, making baskets, cigar box purses... I guess you could say that artwise I am a jack of all trades master of none. I am always a willing learner when it comes to learning something new about a new ornamental oddity (yes, I am stealing the phrase Corpsey).Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor
