About Me

My name is Kristen. I am a Graduate Gemologist and Jeweler. I am newly engaged as of November 10, 2006. Check out my bling below. I am a true libra. I love helping people and having a good time. I can't stand things to stay the same way for too long whether it's my hair color or the arrangement of furniture in my apartment, my music selections or my daily routines I always have to find a way to keep things interesting. I was a born leader so I'm always looking to stay ahead. I love to paint it gets me out of my head and lets me get lost in a different world. I like to garden. Watching my plants grow gives me that sense of accomplishment. I love my little baby shih-tzu he needs me and I like that. I have more facets than a diamond if you want to see them all - take a good look!Diamonds Are a Girls Best FriendVisit my page for wedding details at: http://www.theknot.com/ourwedding/KristenKoenig&StevenGr ant

My Interests

My Gemstone is Ruby
Daring, ethusiastic, and spontaneous.
I am energetic and passionate, with an appetite for life. What Gemstone Are You?Playing with my baby shee-tzu, DIAMONDS, painting, more DIAMONDS, art, reading tabloids, watching oprah, cleaning [yeah right] playing with my baby shee-tzu, lots of DIAMONDS, being a jewler, taking bubble baths, long walks on beaches, living in california (at least when I actually did live there), fine china, hunting/fishing, camping, rock climbing, feeding the homless, dodgeball, liquor, special needs, booz, many many diamonds, long taxi rides, curry, holiday cheer, festive sweaters, arts and crafts, sculpting, paint by numbers, the fetal possition, adhesives, literacy, spark plugs, my lord and savior mr rogers(he likes festive sweaters too), scrapbooking, salt, button collecting, Vanilla Ice, interpretive dance, scallops, and a bunch of other things. The above mentioned are all interests of mine, yet seldom do i get to live the pleasures and true beauty that they hold.

I'd like to meet:

Dane Cook the best comedian ever, I'd like to meet him..he would probably say something funny and make me pee my pants. Peeing in your pants is cool didn't you know? I'd like to meet Dave Mathews so I can hug him and tell him he rocks!

Music:

I listen to all sorts of music. I like making my own soundtracks. I play whatever best suits the moment. I'll listen to Dandy Warhols, Billy Holiday, Jack Johnson, Dave mathews, Jem, Frank sinatra, ( do you like frank sinatra? he's dead) I'll listen to rap,oldies,alternative...pretty much everything...there is no real pattern to my choices.

Movies:

If it's funny, sad, inspiring, cute, artistic, or scary I'll like it. I don't like movies that people like just because they want to be unique and interesting for liking them. Like that movie Pan's Labrynth (spelling?) I thought it would be some unique artistic experience of a movie but it was gross and depressing and while the concept was interesting and the fantasy portions were inventive I feel that it was more of a nightmare than a dream. I don't know maybe that makes no sense....but I prefer to find my own answers in a movie not be told what to find so profound and then walk around feeling a big self assurance that I'm so terrific for understanding it.

Television:

I like watching old movies or shows...come on I Love Lucy....who doesn't love lucy? Cartoons are great if they are called Tom and Jerry or Family Guy. I really like the dynamics and drama when I watch HBO's Big Love. The characters have developed and it's getting more interesting with every episode. NOT SPORTS!!! Except if it's a Bears Game of course other wise ESPN can kiss my ass.

Books:

Harry Potter is fun, Clockwork Orange is crazy, Davinci Code was captivating, Catcher in the Rye was sad.... I just recently read Wicked. It was quite awesome. I was thinking it would just be a cute little fairy tale...I was way wrong. It was dark, political, sad, confusing, and much more. It really was awesome! There is a sequel called Son of a Witch. Gotta read it.WHAT IS THE SU-FI ?The SUPERFINGER screams one of two things depending on how you use it.In "PISSED OFF MODE" it means:"FUCK YOURSELF YOU FUCKING NOTHING PUDDLE OF FUCKDEW. YOU DRIPPING STICKY BLEACH SMELLING MASS OF EXTREME UBER-MENTAL RETARDATION. SOUR JIZZ FUCKASSFACE. EAT MY FUCK WITH AN EXTRA SIDE OF FUCK FRIES. YOU FUCKHOLE."In "FEEL THE LOVE" mode it mean:"I realize you are feeling my truth and my dedication. You're saying THANKS FOR JUST BRINGING IT HONEST and I return that vibe with the SU-FI. You can't fuck with the truth and I appreciate that you would indicate that to me with a flash of the SU-FI. Respect and accomplishment I wish for you." By Dane Cook

Heroes:

Elvis Presley, Vincent Van Gogh, Andy Warhol, Motzart, Shakespear, Dave Mathews, Jackie Chan, Billie Holiday, Tabloid Photographers, My Best Friend Alexandria Rich, Doctors, Teachers, Firefighters, Marines, J.D. Salinger, My brother, My mother, My Father, Nanny, Guinness, Steven, and the list continues...
