About Me

The stories of individuals and civilizations that can make you laugh, cry and get pissed off. I have incredible children/ family. Over the last year I've been getting back into an old passion- checking out great local bands and drinking good brews. I've also started getting back into biking, hiking, canoeing, horseback riding and some other healthy hobbies. Drawing, painting, making reproductions of artifacts,etc! Still doing historical reenactment and I am alway's up for traveling. 80's UK punk and some US punk, 70's to present heavy, doom, and psychedelic. Traditional/folk music from various cultures. Too many to list but here are some of my favorites:The Evil Machine, The Sword, Kinski, SUNN0, The Mystick Krewe of Clearlight, Earth, Spiritual Beggers, ACID KING, SLEEP, Witchcraft, WITCH, old Hellacopters, The Obsessed, Spirit Caravan, Hidden Hand, Pentagram,YOB, DOZER, TROUBLE, Nebula, KYUSS, old Monster Magnet, Tonawanda Singers, Young Greyhorse Singers, and classics like AC/DC, Motorhead and the almighty BLACK SABBATH!!

Indie flicks, Sci Fi/Fantasy and Historical adventure/saga, horror: especially Romero and Italian ZOMBIE films, foreign films like Latcho Drom and Close to Eden

Television:

I don't watch much television, but will sometimes watch History Channel/ Discovery Channel/ Public Television type programs

Books:

most books related to history, art, cultures, and animals. Current favorites: The Historian, The Devil's Teeth, Byzantium

Heroes:

Sapata, Sasaya and Logan- they're intelligent/strong and have taught me so much!! People like Ghengis Khan and Attila the Hun who rose from a chaotic environment and united adversaries together. Thier actions are considered harsh by todays standards but they changed the face of the world and opened communication and trade between various cultures.
