noiseboy is the tour manager for the dance music heavies. he can be currently found taking charge at tour dates for Deep Dish (Dubfire + Sharam) all over the world.
noiseboy got his start as a sound engineer at such prestigious theatres as Glimmerglass Opera, Hartford Stage, New York Shakespeare Festival's Public Theatre and Shakespeare in Central Park. he's also worked with actors such as Natalie Portman, Liev Schriever, Kevin Kline, and Meryl Streep.
after getting his fill of the theatre, noiseboy moved on to his one true love: music. he started designing sound systems at various locations around Manhattan, bulking up the sound for free drinks and his DJ friends before finally settling at FILTER 14.
it was at FILTER 14 where everything started to fall into place. this seedy, underground club was home to DJs Satoshi Tomeii, Hector Romero, and Tony Humphries. after noiseboy put his magic touch to the system, a who's-who of talent started to perform there, including Roger Sanchez, David Morales, Sven Vath, Richie Hawtin, Harry 'Choo-Choo' Romero, Richard F, Jose Nunez, Sandra Collins, Steve Porter, DJ Behrouz and more. . .
in addition to dance music, FILTER 14 also catered to the rock crowd, starting Girls and Boys with Alex English. . . live concerts were the main draw to this party, with stellastarr*, Morningwood, and The Stills all performing.
from there, noiseboy got the call at arc (formerly Vinyl.) he was to head up the massive Phazon sound system under Steve Dash. he became one of NYC's favorite "noiseboys" working with Danny Tenaglia's Be Yourself party, as well as Body & Soul's Sunday Afternoon tea-parties with Joe Clausell, Francois K, and Danny Krivit. The Saturday night parties featured international DJ's such as Danny Howells, Sander Kleinenberg, Victor Calderone, Paul van Dyk, Sasha, and more. . .
after a year defining the sound in NYC, noiseboy decided to take on the world. he became tour manager for Erick Morillo and the Subliminal Sound in March 2003.
for over 3 years, noiseboy has traveled the world, working with premiere nightclubs such as Crobar, Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Angels of Love, Space, Spirit, Zouk, Cream, and Home to name a few.
whenever you see him in the DJ booth, you know you will be getting the best in sound that club has to offer!!
