The formation of "Kreamdip" in 2003 has taken the Washington D.C. house scene by storm. Since their alliance, Omar Karim and Steve DiPietro have presented a new sound and feel, gracing the walls of prominent clubs throughout the U.S. Their weekly residency at the legendary Dragonfly has given them the presence to drop sets where they take the listeners on a journey through house music unparalleled in the nation's capital. Spinning funky, progressive house music, they have transformed into one of the premier house music duos. During the past year, they have elevated to another level, spending more time in the studio producing tracks for their DC based label Level 2 Recordings. Their first track titled Jumpy has already drawn praise from numerous industry artists, including Bart Cruz of Feed Me Records/Portugal. A white label funky rendition of Rachel Panays I Still Believe has also enjoyed great success amongst the DC club goers. Stay tuned for more releases from this duo in the near future. Recent marquee performances have included the Winter Music Conference in Miami, as part of a weeklong DC party lineup that included DJ Tom B, Scott Henry, Jav D, and BT, as well as shows for Gucci and Esquire Magazine in New York City. Their third volume in a series of compilations, Triple Dubble was recently put forth for the listening pleasure of all their followers. www.kreamdip.com for more info on future performances and releases."House music has evolved with an attitude...
