About MeWHO IS SARAH-BE . . . ? Born in LA to white supremist Neo-Nazi parents Sarah's father ran a Neo-Nazi motorcycle gang 'The Iron Cross' who fought against the Black Panthers and broke up peace marches back in the late 60' early 70's. He was also the bodygaurd for the leader of the American Nazi Party, George Lincoln Rockwell. Around the age of 2 the family moved to Kentucky and when Sarah was 5 he was put into prison for trying to blow up the United Nations Building. In the 3 years of his prison absence Sarah wrote and directed plays, performed dances and even wrote books at that young age. On his return from prison the child abuse began and her father's hatred for the arts killed her creativity. Nature became her refuge from the violence at home as she spent many days in the woods alone or up a tree she climbed to get away. Filled with a deep sense of shame from the home life and being on welfare Sarah made up stories about her 'trips' to LA and faked autographs of famous people to feel important. At age 10 Sarah's father decided he had the right to have 7 wives based on Biblical scripture and married another woman who moved in across the street. He then moved all 6 (there are 9 now) children and two wives to Utah where he felt being a polygamist would fit in. In Beverly Hill Billy's fashion the family bought a large house with pillars in a wealthy neighborhood only afforded because of a forclosure. There was no furniture for a while and Sarah's first clothes for school were jeans her mother sewed. Teased for being poor and ashamed from the polygamist situation, Sarah vowed to one day be the most popular girl in school. By 9th grade she had it all, the looks, the boys, the clothes, the popularity. But no real friends. No one really knew her or the violence and brainwashing that was going on at home. The second wife left shortly after moving to Utah when Sarah's father threatend to beat her while she was pregnant for not acting right. Sarah's mother kept justifying his behavior, trying to convince Sarah that it was righteous. The violence became worse as Sarah grew into a teenager and began questioning and rebeling. Once he beat her with a strap over thirty times while she stood up against the counter for sneaking out to a dance. She was constantly told that women and children are just property, that she was only good for her looks and that women are stupid. Her father held regular bible studies with the family preaching white supremicy and establishing himself as God's right hand man in their eyes and he even tried to SELL her at 15 to a 32 year old friend claiming it was his right. Sarah dreamed of running away many times and living in the mountains behind their home which she spent a great deal of time in. She even read books on wilderness survival. The thought of not getting an education and not knowing how to blow her nose (among other things) without tissue stopped her. At age 15 Sarah was discovered by an Italian modeling agency and left home to become a fashion model. She modeled in Milan, Paris, London, Tokyo and Munich. Thinking being rich and famous would make her happy she realised quickly that the magazine covers and money didn't change feeling dead inside. After 2 1/2 years in Europe as her career was soaring she gave it all up and moved to New Mexico to attend massage therapy school. At this point she was financially independant and did not need to live at home again. While in massage school she started to wake up from a state of complete numbness and realise how much anger she held inside and to see the abuse for what it was. She became active in African dance classes after seeing a performance that made her cry from the music and passionate dancing. She met Thomas, a Mexican man from the hood who was a skilled African drummer and began a passionate and turbulent relationship, gave birth to a child and by this time her family disowned her. She was approached by a Haitian woman and asked to perform African Dance at her Carribean restaurant and from that kept getting paid to perform at many events, even in front of all Black audiences!
While in massage school Sarah started rapping as a joke, having never been around it or really even heard it, it just came out of the blue and people at the school kept asking her to write more songs. When she got together with Thomas she lost everything, her job, her money and was back on welfare when she left him. Though the love was deep the relationship was built on lies and only brought pain. Working hard to heal and find herself Sarah eventually saved enough money working as a sky cap at the airport to make a trip to Africa where she felt a deep calling. Sarah studied traditional dances and music while there and had many life changing experiences. The love and recognition she felt from the African people was more than she'd EVER experienced from her family and it felt like a homecoming. She cried constantly while there. After contracting malaria and almost dying Sarah came back to the states forever changed and grateful for the experience. Within that year she moved to LA determined to make a life for her and her son in the entertainment industry. It didn't take long for Sarah to realise that her broken state of mind and low self esteem would not get her jobs that she felt respected in. She worked as a massage therapist and struggled to pay the rent while taking dance classes and writing music. Hip hop classes were her first real exposure to rap music and she fell in love with the beats like in Africa.
New to the urban scene Sarah had been writing lyrics and poetry to try and heal from the pain until one day she came across a freestyle cypher. That's when the lights came on. She knew this was her calling and began writing rap. She also knew that men in the rap game didn't want to hear what she had to say about mysoginistic men like her father. So she began producing her own beats and developing on her own. As she focused on healing her past by telling her stories and reliving the pain that she locked away she gained a new energy and began playing pick-up basketball games at the park and studying martial arts. Her son taught her how to dribble and it wasn't long before she started beating 99% of the guys who challenged her. Now she plays on men's AND women's leagues. She trained hard in Tae Kwon Do and recently started working as a stunt woman for film and television using her martial arts skills. Now that Sarah feels she's put all the pieces of herself back together she is ready to start working with talented producers, putting out her music, her stories and to take on the rap game.STUNT REEL ACTING REEL LEVEL 4 Prologue
