Logica Nova is a young French band which can’t easily be labeled: rock, jazz, pop, cabaret? None of these words could exactly sum up its musical universe, but none of them would be totally inappropriate. The four Novas’ purpose, when they started the band about two years ago, wasn’t to become “the next big thing”, that’s why they don’t give a damn about finding their place in a particular style, or aiming at a particular audience. They just want to express themselves freely in music, and make songs that sound good to them, without further pretension. Still, they do their best to make every song they compose unique, playing with their numerous musical influences to fashion very different titles, each one with its own atmosphere, but always in a their peculiar, humorous, absurd, energetic and sometimes quite silly mood. So don’t be afraid of the unexpected, leave your prejudices behind and be kind enough to share a little time with us! Who knows… you might even come back… Have fun!
