The bitch covets my boots!!!

About Me

I'm a laid-back girl that likes spending time with friends and enjoys listening to and playing music. I play rhythm guitar and sing back up vocals in The Freddie Lee Band. Check us out on www.sonicbids.com/TheFreddieLeeBandI have a bachelor of science degree in Occupational Therapy and I'm a licensed Occupational Therapist. I've had a fairly diverse career since graduating from UWM. I currently work in the Human Resources field and have done so for about 7 years now. I enjoy what I do.
Buried at PhotoCasket.comI appreciate honesty, and self-confidence in others. I DESPISE arrogance. We're all created equal and no one has the right to act like they are better/superior than others. I tend to make friends easily with people and have many acquaintances and a very diverse group of friends.I am often told that I'm like "one of the guys, yet still girly". I take that as a compliment.

My Interests

I am a music lover and a musician. I love performing for an audience and I get excited about working on new songs and projects. I enjoy interacting with people both professionally and socially. I love opportunities to meet new people and experience new things that I haven't done before. I work hard and I like to play hard too. I enjoy cooking....for myself and for friends. I cook a mean steak. :) I'm not a huge sports fan but I do like to watch the Packer games on tv. I love being outdoors. I love being around water and out in the woods. There's nothing like sitting around a huge campfire with a cocktail in hand and good friends nearby. I like playing tennis, volleyball, badminton, running, and bike riding; cross country skiing. And when all that good/healthy activity is over with during the day......I like to drink! :-)

I'd like to meet:

Aerosmith Joe Perry & Steven Tyler

Add to My Profile | More Videos I'd love to meet Joe Perry and Aerosmith. Their music has inspired me in countless ways. I like people who share some of my interests and also people who inspire me to try new things.

Music:

Buried at PhotoCasket.comAerosmith Full Circle

Add to My Profile | More VideosI am a die-hard Aerosmith fan. Absolutely love those guys!! :))Joe Perry is my primary guitar influence. His playing style prompted me to pick up my Les Paul and start rockin' again after a 10 year long break from playing. Besides my beloved Aerogods, I totally dig most of the straight forward, "late 70's style", whisky blues-type rock........aka James Gang, Head East, Grand Funk, and The Joe Perry Project, as well as newer groups who have caught on to the same great sounds and may have added other elements such as FUNK. I really dig FUNK. Parliament is a big favorite of mine. Funk is very fun to play and to jam out to. I love anything Zappa.I love many other types of music too, like rockabilly, metal, punk, and 80's pop.......... to name a few.......The Legendary Shack Shakers, G'N'R, Buckcherry, Badlands, The Cult, Lenny Kravitz, THE DARKNESS, Franz Ferdinand, The CURE...etc, etc. My favs from Wisconsin include the now defunct Sin City Injectors and Psychedelicasi. Of the current groups, I like Pat mAcdonald, Anura, The Cherry Pops and Shattered. I have been actively participating in Milwaukee's local music scene since 2002 in a variety of bands. I am the rhythm guitarist and background vocalist in THE FREDDIE LEE BAND. I have worked with Freddie Lee since 2003. THE FREDDIE LEE BAND plays original music - progressive rock with funk and a touch of blues. Check us out at www.myspace.com/FREDDIELEEBAND/ I swear I will never put down my guitar again as I did in my early twenties. I am always learning new things musically and that keeps me excited and inspired to keep playing and developing as a musician.

Movies:

I LOVE horror movies. Rob Zombie's recent movies were great. Vampire movies are usually my first choice to see whether in the theater or at home when renting videos. I also like comedy... Tenacious D, White Chicks, Night at the Roxbury, KINGPIN, The Big Lebowski. Dramas are cool and I liked the first couple Star Wars movies. I love old movies too. Nothing beats the glamour of old Hollywood........

Television:

I've never been a big tv person. I don't like to be tied down to the tube. There's too many other things I want to do with my time. I've always preferred to rent movies rather than watch regular tv if I'm spending time at home. I do like to watch Grey's Anatomy and House every now and then. Medium is pretty cool too.

Books:

I have the entire Anne Rice collection. I'm also collecting a lot of books on American Indian Philosophy. Daughters of Copper Woman is a MUST READ. Books about spirituality and humanistic views are also something I enjoy.

Heroes:

People who aren't afraid to have faith in others and in themselves when the going gets rough.

Life Lessons

It's so tempting at times to take things at face value when confronted with material things and people who "pretend" to be helpful, but ultimately, doing so could be the most costly mistake of all.
