Shall I Die project start in 2005 by an idea of Riccardo (drums) to create a band with metal influences. Soon he founds Andrea (guitar, Violent Sutura - ex Regain The Shore) and later Luca (voice, Awaken Demons - ex Violent Sutura) and together start to create songs.
First songs have a granite sound which reminded bands like The Acacia Strain and At The Gates.
For more than one year the band plays in Riccardo's house without a bassist until the entry of Ivo (bass).
In march 2007 they record their first ep "The Passion Is Gone" at Duna Studio in Russi (RA). Thanks to the completed line-up, they start soon to play shows around Italy.
They share the stage with bands like Confronto, Eye Of Judgement, Samaritan, In Other Climes, Clobberin Time, Le Tormenta and Godless Crusade.
