About Me

Hmmm ok, lets start by saying father to an incredible little boy, husband to a wife that seems to find new ways to keep me challenged every day, son to parents that support choices (but don't always accept them) and brother to a man that has become almost invisble yet is making efforts to become visible again. That about covers the priority list. If you've even heard Miles Davis's "So What" on a quiet morning when you wanted to maintain the ultimate peace around you or Curtis Mayfield's "We people that are darker than blue" on a night when you just wanted to not think and just stand in time for a few minutes and let the world flow by you, then chances are you are me... In the midst of all that peace and commitment, I find a way to fund my fetishes by being a Director of Sales and Marketing for a Stock Photo Company. I've got a competition grade mountain bike that I personally put at least 3000 miles of very hard off-roading in my garage but due to a torn rotator cuff a couple of years ago I have only now started to get back on. Same goes for my ski's that used to be the driving force behind 7 years of competition and my personal identity.. I now know that there are more important things in life than putting your faith and life into a pair of planks or wheels... but I still can't wait to get back on both as soon as my son has enough leg strength to tjoin me... I live for the day I can open my own hotel on any of the Mediteranean beaches or islands and spend my days looking out at the sea...

Music:

I like it all but if you know the difference between MORCHEEBA, LAMB and MASSIVE ATTACK then we should get along great. Also THE CURE goes with almost everything, and if it doesn't then usually you can replace it by some BEN HARPER, or some classic 50's Jazz when MILES DAVIS and JOHN COLTRANE were still playing together, up to the time a young pianist by the name of Herbie Hancock joined Miles's band.. If that still doesn't work check out K-LA's Band CHILDREN OF THE PLAGUE and we should be covered!

Movies:

Television:

pretty much anything coming out of HBO these days is awesome.. but more specifically, Carnivale, Six Feet Under and Top Gear.

Books:

I've become an e-book fanatic.. anything that fits on my Kjam while I'm waiting is fine...

Heroes:

Is there anyone we really look up to that is really a perfect hero? Better to strive for it yourself and just be proud of where you've gotten and what you've done. If that's no good for you, then try Rory cochrans character Lucas from Empire Records "What's with today, today?"
