MEGANAUT

With a group well-versed in the rocket science of pop, Meganaut hits hard in the face of schoolboy twit-ish new rock. They return you to Heavy Basics 101, then proceed to tutor on driving guitars blending with jazzy bass lines, screaming vocals and pounding pop percussion. Residing in Austin, Texas, Meganaut is creating their first album and already has an unrelentless live show to thrill audiences around the globe. Jeff Henson is an engineer/producer in Austin with several albums to his credit. He has also done studio musician work as well as fronting several bands in the past, all building up to his creation of MEGANAUT in early 2004. Mark Canepa is originally from San Jose, CA where he played guitar in the explosive psycho band Hayride to Hell, based out of the Bay Area. In 2000 Mark moved to Austin to start the nationwide sensation Concombre Zombi in which he is the main songwriter, guitarist and singer for the trio. Mark Brown, also known as Coco, is one of austin's up and coming badass drummers he's been in numerous bands throughout the years, most notably Posterboy, Holeshot and Peter Elliott and the Sellouts. Aaron Fenton is a graphic artist and musician having played drums, guitar, and horns in the past. Now switching to bass he has become another force to be reckoned with.
