WHEN THE WORLD ENDS...I HOPE WE'RE ALL FUCKING

About Me

IT All began with A SONG, A FILM, A BOAT, and A RIFLE.....................................THE SONG: I mused. An epiphany occurred. Thus, I developed a new and unusual visual product. Exhibiting at Moosewood, Evolution, and the Holiday Craft Fair generated a little profit. This is how I met Mr. Chicago at the Chanti, showin' my Art. This is who catapulted me into a poetic phase I had never known. I wrote a Bass Line. I wrote a melody. I wrote a song. "MAD CRUSH" is born". -robbin (january 2005)....................................................... ................THE FILM: Analog recording of "Mad Crush" at Wiz Sound (March 2005) , just me singing with my Hamer. We go back to Wiz and my 'Screamin Dirty Sexy guitar God' Alex Ribeiro licks side B. I get welcomed aboard on an Indie Film "Waiting on Alphie" as 'Props Manager' and this is how I meet Jay Mendelson, 'Tech Director'. I've got wheels so we pool to the set. Awed, I discover that I'm driving around this groovey talented techno-geek musician that played synthesizer on Johnny Dowd's album "Wrong Side of Memphis", founding member of "The Choice", sound man for "Urban Blight"... what else can i say except..."okay, you've got ears; would you give a listen to my song and honestly tell me what you think?" (april 2005).................................................THE BOAT: Maybe, but yes, certainly serendipitously, Jay's mid-life crisis swings into full tilt. We had already laid down my bass line and vocals on his computer when soon after, he was out of "The Froo Froo House" so fucking fast he didn't know what, where or how... he knew the why. My song got lost, temporarily. (june 2005)....................................................... ........................THE RIFLE: Straight off the Hip, Shot confiscated it. But that's okay. I stuck to my guns and held Jay hostage to his promise. WHERE THERE'S MUSIC, THERE IS LIFE. (july 2005)....................................................... ...............................THE CLUB: WHERE THERE's A BOAT, THERE ARE GIRRLZ. Jay kept throwin' around these goofy sometimes sentimental names for his unnamed craft and one stuck in my craw. The one his cognitive social behavior patterns voyeured. So, I asked permission to have it, to hold the title to it, to perform as it... and now WE ARE PUSSY PATROL. (february 2006)...
