I am here for Dating, Serious Relationships, Friends and Networking

About Me

I'm a guy. I live here. I do stuff. Sometimes I'm good, sometimes I'm not, however you choose to define either of those terms, and in whatever context. Sometimes I'm happy, sometimes not so much. You may see me out sometime, unless you don't go there, in which case you won't. My eyes are brown. My shoe size is ten, except when ten doesn't fit, as sometimes occurs when you buy a pair of foreign shoes. Then adjustments must be made. My thought process sometimes has me swinging from one idea to another. Some people think that makes me sharp and witty, others find it frustrating and annoying. I tend to side with the first group. I don't think it matters what kind of car you drive, what kind of clothes you wear or what kind of cell phone you have. On the other hand, I'd like the best ones I can afford at any given moment. I despise people who drop names, unless mine trump yours. No, I'm not a cop, but I played one once. I agree that a mind is a terrible thing to waste. On the other hand, I've left the "Old Pink" at 4am on more than a few occasions. Do you have questions? I might have answers.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

The person who reads my profile and "gets it". Cool People. Smart People. Funny people. A few cute people wouldn't hurt either, because frankly I'm not beyond that. As for famous people, well, if they are still living and I've been in the general vicinity of them, I've had pretty decent luck at meeting the ones I've wanted to.But if you want a list of folks, living, dead or otherwise, who I haven't met, but would like to, here are ten: 1). Lenny Bruce 2). Bill Hicks 3). Alan Watts 4). Harry Houdini 5). Bridget Bardot, circa 1957 6). Edward Hopper 7). Bettie Page, also circa 1957 8). Jesus...just cause I'd like to hear how he feels about all this (and by that I'm referring to the world at large, current events, human history, and not my list) 9). Holden Caulfield 10. Todd & BuzYes, I know that's really eleven. So what.

Watched the only ten minutes of "American Idol" I’ve seen all year

And I will say they all seem like nice, attractive people, and if any of them were my wait-person if I ended up in 'Olive Garden' one night, I'd leave them a respectable tip. But I wouldn't buy a dis...

A Brief Observation

Sure they're so gosh-darned cute, but I gotta say something. Leaving your new kitten at home with only your other cat to keep an eye on the fort is like giving the Three Stooges and the Marx Brothers ...

I don’t blog for almost a year, and then I write 3 in one day.

Probably because I should be working on fixing up my script, specifically "Xmas Sucks". This is the story of a guy who is going through a really rough holiday season because the love of his life left ...

My new kitten is a music critic

I'm on the third day of my new kitten, a very cute little girl, predominantly black with some white on the neck and feet, and some really wild whiskers. No name yet, as I'm still trying to determine w...

The last thing I watched was 'Factory Girl'. Should you care?

The last thing I watched, as mentioned above, was 'Factory Girl', the notorious film that came out earlier this year starring Sienna Miller and Guy Pierce as sixties "IT" girl Edie Sedgewick and Andy ...

On A More Positive Note...

If one is walking the wall at the local Blockbuster looking for some solid indie fare, you would be wise to check out the selection of films being put out under the 'Film Movement' banner. A collectio...

Movie Review: 'Tweek City'--A Festering Turd By Any Other Name...

OK...I wasn't planning on writing movie reviews just yet, but here is one I tried watching tonight and had to bail on. It's called "Tweek City". I found it in the indie section at Blockbuster. It's a ...

This Whole Page Is Under Reconstruction...

..which is nothing like the reconstruction of the south, which was pretty damn painful, and some would say never really ended. On the other hand, Atlanta is a pretty cool, upscale, and very modern cit...
