First off, I'm a Christian. This doesn't mean I'm perfect, but it does mean that I'm striving to be more like Jesus Christ. If you don't know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, I encourage you to get to know Him NOW. Life is already uncertain, so you need to be VERY certain that you are protected by God's grace!I'm a fun loving girl with a big heart, a smart mouth and a pleasant smile. I'm a shortie too (only 5'2") but they say good things come in small packages, so I'm gonna believe in that phrase whole heartedly!Let's see, what else about me. I'm an avid reader (especially African American history), and I've recently gotten into poetry too. My biggest passion is music. I LOVE to sing and I've been singing for as long as I can remember. Old School R&B, Jazz, Classical and especially Gospel are my genres of choice. I am involved in a local gospel singing group called Isaac Cates & Ordained, and we are preparing for our CD release concert on June 3, 2006. I am so excited about this project and about the wonderful opportunites God has given us to minister through song. Ya'll keep your eyes open for us!Last but not least, I'm the mother of a beautiful little girl. She's my smile, my laugh, my heart and my soul. Of course she's a handful at times (like, at all times) but she's a blessing and I thank God for her.That's me in a nutshell...wanna know more?
