I am here for Friends

About Me

I've been happily married for 28 years to my wonderful husband who is also my best friend. I am also the mother of four beautiful kids. They are my life and I would be lost without them. I love them all so much!!! I went to school for nursing and for a short time worked in the operating room as a scrub nurse until I married my husband and became a farm wife. We have an organic dairy farm. I love writing letters and have had many penpals throughout my life. I still write to my first penpal in France and we've been writing for over 37 years. I still have friends in Canada, Japan, England, Germany, & Denmark. I love to travel and my very favorite place to visit is London, England because the whole city is overflowing with history! I also love San Francisco and I can't wait to visit there again!! My ancesters are from Poland (mainly Kashubian)and I would love to go there one day! I love to laugh and people often remember me for that. I'm very outgoing, friendly, and loud at times. I like to speak my mind and tell people exactly how it is. One of the things I wish I could change about myself is that I worry and am anxious all the time. I have been blessed with lots of great friends and wonderful family. God is an important part of my life.

The people I wish I could have met are: Joan of Arc, Martin Luther, Abraham Lincoln, Ben Franklin, Princess Diana, Lucille Ball, Laura Ingalls Wilder, Judy Garland, Jimmy Stewart, and John Wayne. I'd love to meet Shepherd's Chapel Students!

I like Shepherd's Chapel, Criminal Minds is now my favorite television show, Survivor, Law and Order SVU & CI, Without a Trace, Jericho, House, Prison Break, Lost, and American Idol. I've always been a big fan of Star Trek! I like to watch reruns of the older shows because they warm my heart and take me back to a time when life was less complicated. My favorite news channel is Fox News and I like to watch Bill O'Reilly, and Hannity and Colmes, and Greta Van Susteran.

Books:

I like to read when I get the chance. My favorite book is the Holy Bible KJV. A must read for all American's..."Because They Hate." We need to wake up and open our eyes to what's happening in our country! I'm also reading Culture Warrior by Bill O'Reilly.

Heroes:

My hero is my daughter Courtney who lost her sight in a freak accident five years ago. I admire her so much because of her courage, determination, positive attitude, and her willingness to go the extra mile and do whatever it takes to acheive her dreams. She has more faith than anyone I have ever met. I love you sweetheart...you are my angel!
