About Me

It's all about The State!Everyone knows how difficult it is to get information on everything hip hop related. If you're lucky you may get a little of what you need from magazines or TV, but everything tends to come with egos and strings. This is where the State of Independence comes in. As the name suggests The State have no ties to anyone. It is an objective, stand-alone information service, separate and independent of notions of self-importance. Its sole purpose is to give people the information they want...no strings attached.A State address is emailed out every fortnight to a database of dedicated followers of rap and hip hop culture, with a few choice things thrown in for good measure. Based in the UK The State goes out all over the country from Brighton, to Glasgow, to Ireland, as well as fifteen other countries. State patrons are simply hip hop lovers who want less industry interference and more information, so they can make up their own minds about the music theyre passionate about. The State is only mailed to subscribers. We don't co-op email addresses. This way we're always sure that we're not adding to everyone's already over flowing in tray's with unwanted mail, and that we're hitting the people that want to know more about what's going on in hip hop and black music culture. To subscribe just send an email to the address below.Welcome to The State!Tee Max State of [email protected]
