One of those 80's kid who grew up on Voltron & The Transformers, and who had always considered himself the 6th Cosby kid. You know the type...one of those kids who used to actually RENT those how-to-breakdance videocassettes for his VCR (remember those?), and for some odd reason actually wanted to attend HILLMAN COLLEGE. One of those kids who was cool enough to have almost all of the He-Man action figures, but didn't have Snake Mountain, like the "people wit' money" down the street did. (Think I wound up turning my Nintendo into Skeletor's makeshift headquarters, but I digress...)One of those 80's kids who considered himself a part of hip-hop's first (and BEST) generation...one of those kids who knew when the most dangerous thing about hip-hop was if there was a staple sticking outta your cardboard (I'll give you a minute on that...). One of those kats who used music as the soundtrack to his life...whether it be bumpin' the Charm City Crew & Run DMC - or rockin' to INXS and Whitesnake (I went to middle school in "the county"...what can I say?) One of those dudes whose middle name damn well should be "Jack", cuz when he was in high school, it was ALL about listening to New Edition (N.E. Heartbreak era, no doubt!), Guy (yup, yup), and Bobby Brown (the original King of...nevermind)...and if I'm lucky, catchin' their videos on THE BOX!So what exactly happens to kids like that?He'll tell you when he grows up....
