About Me

No One Knows the Big Newsfor all practical purposes, almost no one is concerned with the big news they have other things more urgent matters inscribed in their skulls and all kinds of business to carry out their heads are just too heavy with so many plans and schemes thousands of tests that will not allow them focus on anything that is so strange anything that is so uncertain they have no time to confront some ultimate revelation they have no desire to find out some incredibly big news such a thing would take everything they know and arrange it in another way altogether telling a story so different from the one that is already familiar to them no one knows the big news yet the big news is always there like a tiny voice on a radio it chatters away through heavy static in a darkened room where people are trying to sleep filling their heads with plans and schemes inscribing thousands of tests and urgent matters inside of our skulls all kinds of business to carry out little errands, odd jobs atrocities both great and small all of which, when taken together, arrange things in a different way and compose a secret story that no one cares to make their concern yet the big news is always there and so few will ever seek to discover and none of them will ever be allowed to tell that we ourselves are the dark light in which the big news is forever being written - Thomas Ligotti"When no risk is taken there is no freedom. It is thus that, in an industrial society, the plethora of laws made for our personal safety convert the land into a nursery, and policemen hired to protect us become selfserving busybodies." - Alan WattsGiant Brass BallsGreatest Living American

I'd like to meet:

people from my past, people from the future, and people in the present who share similar interests. anybody local who's into making music and/or film.

In fact if I don't recognize you and you don't SEND ME A MESSAGE FIRST I will deny you right away. I try to keep my friend count down so I can actually keep track of my real friends and what they have to say. that said, if we have some genuine common interests, especially if you live close by, I'd be more than happy to hear from you.

Amd if you constantly forward stupid chain bulletins or anything annoying like that I'll delete you no matter how much I like you

Music:

I'm an unnapologetic music snob. I can't help it. ever since finding a cure tape in the dirt at summer camp back when I was a stupid 13 year old that listened to nothing but aerosmith and metallica, I've been on a never ending search for music that's new and exciting, which constantly re-enforces my opinion that the shit clearchannel shovels down the throats of the populace through their radio waves is nothing but generic garbage. as for my favorites... I have so many... below are some of my audioscrobbler listsRecently played: Top artists of the week:Top artists overall:

Movies:

anything by Darren Aranofsky, Takashi Miike, Stanley Kubrick, Tim Burton, or Coen Bros.Me and You and Everyone We Know Ichi the Killer Dead Alive

Pi and Phi, infinitely perfect....

Tonight, my recording arts teacher was telling me how the golden ratio of the fibbinacci sequence applies to music composition, and I realized something. The reason that Pi and Phi are both so aesthet...

Pope? POOP!!

We broke away from the Catholic Church and Europe because we refused to believe one man could grant sainthood or levy taxes. Just because some of the lesser breeds continue to believe in the infallibi...

John Kerry is nothing but a COWARD

I only voted for him in hopes that he would get the popular vote, lose the electorate, and massive rioting would ensue, but unfortunately the republicans succeeded at stealing enough votes through sca...

Sometimes I wish I could just assimilate

It's so hard to find interesting, thoughtful, creative people these days. It's hard to walk into my choir class (which I'm only in because I need it for my degree) and see all those happy faces singin...
