About Me

I only speak when I have something to say. Breath is precious, why waste it. My dog comes first, no matter what. I love the comfortable silences between friends. I'll go dancing at EVERY opportunity. Dancing within house music fuels my soul & releases it at the same time. I'd sooner cut off my arm before my dreadlocks. Dusk is the best time of day to me. I love all things Italian. I like laughing until my face & ribs hurt. Making love FIRST thing in the morning, shit, it's the breakfast of champions. Nuts & all sweet things with nuts. I LOVE nuts. I believe cashews are a meal man. Spelling always escapes me even though I was an English major; as well as directions. Although somehow I always know where Im going. Being goofy makes me happy. I'm addicted to flossing my teeth. I love all things pink. I'm one of the few girly girls who can squat 180 lbs and punch a hole in your chest. I love that shit man. There's nothing like the certainty of ones own physical strength. I've been practicing Hatha Yoga for seven years and weight training for twelve. It's just a way of life for me. I like camping, running, listening to the quite of early morning & smelling fresh unpolluted air. That shit's harder to come by in the bay area than a three legged man.

My Interests

Buddhism. Mastering the Italian language. Interior Design, the evolution of my Fashion house, Physical Fitness and health. My dog Mia. Physically flowing through and with house music in a rhythmic soulful release.

Music:

House. Is there other music? No really, I like most all types of music. Some that I just don't feel though are hip-hop, rap and country. All that shit just bugs me; cant stand it. My heart, through and through, is HOUSE music pure and simple. There is nothing like it's soulful rhythm and vibe. It reaches in and grabs a part of your soul like nothing else. And if you truly 'feel' it, you'll pray it never lets go. True househeads know what I'm talking about.

Movies:

Amelie, The Devil Wears Prada, Mel Gibson's Apocolipto, Smoke Signals and Bad Santa.

Television:

Grey's Anatomy and Prison Break, that's it. I cant deal with more than 2 hours of TV a week. Unless it's a movie, there is no reason for me to be sitting on my ass watching TV. I have a life to live, and it's not going to happen from the couch. Plus I'd rather listen to music.

Books:

The Four Agreements. Anything by Anne Rice. Awakening the Buddha within, Catch a Fire ~ the life of Bob Marley, Italian language books. How to be your Dog's best friend. Dude, don't even think of getting a dog without reading this book first. It's the Bible for all people living with a dog. It'll take you from simply being a dog owner to a parent of a dog. It's great. Yes I love my Dog!Odie fucking Rox!!!

Heroes:

The Dalai Lama. My Husband Simon. And the person who is not afraid to say what everyone else is thinking.

Ok so I've taken quite a bit of time since my last and first post. But hey, life happens.In the time I've written I moved out of my beloved California to the deserts of new Mexico, Gotten two new jobs...
