About Me

In the early months of 2004 in the city of Newcastle, Australia, something came to life in the ground floor of an old building on the corner of Union and Hunter streets. Rumoured to have once been the residence of the local mad man, the dimly lit room was the perfect place for the birth of Festivus.There, with the paint scrawled walls surrounding them, Dom (keyboards/vox), Chris (Bass/vox), Andrew (guitar) and Leo (drums) created a sound. From the filth rose 3 men/1 man-child. Seperately they are like shadows, a blur of masculinity, grit and fabulous hair but together they prove 4 wrongs notes actually do make a right. Together they combine to form FESTIVUS!Half God- Half Beast - Half HUMAN, they emerge from nest and there in the collective glow from the street light and the brothel next door a massive tick crawled into the cool night air. Operation: MIND CONTROL - to poison the minds of the masses began!Ever since the emergence in mid 2004 it has made a name for itself. Venues such as The Cambridge, Lucky Country and The Lass O'Gowrie Hotels have fallen victim to the tick. With no hint of slowing down it looks as though the tick will invariable take over Newcastle, Australia and then the World. Hallejulah!!!!!!!.
