About Me

Content from Coshed.com - Myspace Layouts
Myspace Layouts The evolution of my personal profile appears to have resulted in me staring at a blinking cursor at the top of a blank box; so please don't expect what you read here to be objective or revealing. Anaiis Nihn once said "We do not see things as they are: we see things as we are." The Super Ego keepin' it real in the scene...;) So, according to the afforementioned philosophy, you are entitled to and psychologically predisposed to identify me as what or whom ever your psyche dictates.I am a 23 y/o, single (and lovin' it!) lesbian and have lived in Grass Valley for all but two of my chaotic 23 years of immediate existence. I still can't decide whether I love this town, or the prospect of its annihilation more. It's kind of like Cheers; where everybody knows your name (even if you don't know theirs) and once you sift through the moral filter and trickle out of the social tap, you'll probably wish you never came. People have a tendency to go insane here...or to jail. Free thinking breeds dangerous, radical idealism in a species that is set apart by its evolved ability to intellectualize and actualize its goals. So watch your step and your back: your next sunny-day visit to town might be the last day you have to savor the freedom of ignorance. Grass Valley - come on vacation, leave on probation. It's a beautiful place with loads of potential and endless possibilities. It's a shame, however, that many of our ideas often fail before they are forged - because a town designed to give families and their posterity every opportunity, is a ticking time bomb of progression. So we wander from our familiar, safe, plastic, cookie-cutter, suburban hideaways; to learn that wisdom cannot be taught...to taste the sweet sin of indulgence that WE may know for US what is...to see what lies beyond the image. Only to find that our curiosity equates to criminal intent and in the heart of the community, communing is illegal for anyone under the age of 25 (or anyone who might sully the impeccable face of our historic and rather corrupt little town). And still we flock, to the streets and each other: whether out of loneliness or boredom, I never can tell. Despite my reservations, I can't deny that this place is home, for I know where paradise hides here... ...suspended somewhere between the pavement and the moment. We need only to seize it, before today is swallowed by the flames of yesterday. So step out and step up...find a friend and smoke up...laugh at the wake of your struggles and mourn nothing lost to this day...all that you need is already in your hands and tomorrow is only a dream away. My Little sister Shannon: for the humbling strength of her will and self-discipline, my Mom: for her devotion and patience, my Dad: for the passion and determination with which he forged security and space for his children to dream, Janyssa: for living her truth thoroughly, until the end that forced an unexpected breath of life into many of our gasping souls. Lastly, anyone who sincerely endeavors to afford any amount of time, interest or love for me i.e. my friends; those whom I cherrish more with every passing day and those lost to the sweaping current of life. (Since I seem to have a tendency to exhaust myself with continual efforts to overwhelm my self-awareness and evade my own conscious presence)
